Welcome to Liberty Senior High School Student Art Exhibit!

Each course has a page located on the list on the right side of this post.
Click on the page of the courses we offer to see a list of student names with a link to each student's published blog containing their artwork. Students were taught to photograph, edit and publish a body of their best work from the year or semester.

We congratulate Liberty High School Art students on their amazing body of learning this year!

PAN AMERICAN ASSOCIATION GRAND BOULEVARD OF THE AMERICAS HIGH SCHOOL ART COMPETITION WINNERS ANNOUNCED
Liberty High School was a competitor in a metropolitan area high school art contest to create country banners 35 countries represented on Grand Boulevard of the Americas. Two winning entries for each country will be made into flags that will be displayed on Grand Boulevard until 2021. LHS was matched in 5 countries against 5 different high schools, submitting 17 total entries. An exhibit of all student work was held at the ArtsTech on Friday, January 8th, 2016.

The following student works were announced as winners Wednesday, January 20, 2016. After the works have been exhibited and photographed, they will be made into flags that will be displayed on Grand Boulevard until 2021.  Of nine possible flags LHS could have won, we won 7! Great work!!

Pan American Association of Kansas City is co-sponsoring and opening reception for the winning entries at the Kansas City Museum at Corinthian Hall in Friday February 12, from 5pm - 7pm.
