Missouri’s Senators have chosen
from student art submitted to represent their districts.
Artwork will be displayed
throughout 2016 in the Senate Parking Hallway
at the state capitol, and open to all for visitation.

artists and teachers are being recognized for their hard work on
Fine Arts Education Day in Jefferson City on Thursday, March 31 as well as the MAEA Spring Conference Awards Reception in St. Louis
on Friday, April 8.

teacher was asked to submit 2 student works.
Our
District 17 State Senator, Ryan Silvey, chose Senior- Sama Ek’s, reduction print titled: Rav, to represent our district.
